The tragic tale of a dog whose “unattractive” skin condition led to her being dumped.

When Terra was originally rescued, she had almost no hair and was quite afraid . Her hair loss was the result of a skin problem that likely arose because her prior family was inattentive.

The poor puppy had a lot of work ahead of him to recover his health and he did not know what people’s love meant .

Fortunately, a caring veterinary professional from West Sussex, UK decided to support Terra through her recuperation process.

Despite her skin problems, there was something about this dog’s stare that was hard to resist.

Terra lost most of her fur owing to suffering from mange . Scabies is a chronic and painful skin disease caused by mites. Animals with this illness are frequently hairless and their skin is covered in sores.

Jessie DeFreitas, a veterinary assistant, fell in love with Terra because of her “beautiful eyes.” She knew that, in her situation, her skin disorders were the outcome of having gone through the hands of a thoughtless and dishonest family.

At home, Jessie already had four cats and a rescue dog, but she knew she could make room for Terra, too . After all, if the puppy hadn’t been given over to the vets, she probably wouldn’t have lived.

First, Jessie wanted to raise the pup . Terra needed regular attention, therefore she was eager to provide him with a safe and caring home.

When Terra prospered, all her beauty began to appear.

At the time, he called her Honey, but shortly found that moniker didn’t suit her . This is because, at first, Terra was quite grumpy and she didn’t play at all.

It certainly didn’t appear sweet like honey at the time, therefore her name was changed to Terra.

Over time, as Terra was cured of her scabies, she grew more loving . Finally, all of her hair grew back and she ended up with a lovely brown and white coat. She also ended up being lot friendlier and sweeter than she was previously.

Jessie already had many animals to care for, but she is glad she opened her heart to Terra as well . The veterinary assistant has a strong love for animals and she couldn’t say no to a pup in need.

Although she was initially merely fostering Terra, she decided to adopt her permanently . Because to Jessie’s compassionate heart, Terra is happy and healthy now, despite everything she went through when he was a pup.

With love and will, Terra underwent an astonishing metamorphosis

Fortunately, Terra had a happy ending, but all puppies that are victims of neglect have the same luck and you have to fight for that. She relates her story.
