The video shows two young boys bravely throwing leaves at the snake in an attempt to force it to leave their dog. Meanwhile, the older child tries to stabilize the snake’s head using what appears to be a metal table leg.

While their human companions fight, the dog and reptile look more confused than sad.

While his two friends work to untangle the snake, which is a challenge at first, the older child uses the pole to press the snake’s head until it reaches the ground.

Eventually the snake’s grip weakens enough for their dog to be freed. They hold both ends. Pull in directions.

Remarkably, their furry friend was unharmed from the encounter.
